I like this site alot. It has info on the Roots, Common, D Angelo, Talib Kweli, DJ Hi Tek, and The Jazzyfatnastees (if you don't know who these artists are, go here NOW!)
The best part of the site is the discussions boards. My favorites are the lesson for music, okaysports for (duh) sports, and okayactivist for more serious issues.

Ah, my school, my residence. Almost outta here; I'm a rising senior majoring in electrical engineering and I'm planning on staying an extra year for grad school. Hey, hey, hey, get dis money. Don't hate; procrastinate.

This site has got to be seen to be believed. The main site is excellent, and the links shown in the above link (don't get Konfused now) are off the hook! Excellent resource for everything and anything about African American music, culture, history, sports, education, etc.
New Jersey SEEDS
SEEDS stands for Scholars, Educators, Excellence, Dedication, and Success. The program basically takes low income, motivated inner city youth in Jersey and gives them extra academic attention, resulting in full financial aid to private day and boarding schools. This results in spoiled ass rich kids gettin reefed. Oh yeah.
Oh yeah, I'm a product of the program, so support it bitches.

Man, I wish I woulda found out about this site earlier. I get Calvin and Hobbes, Cathy (no I'm not gay), Fox Trot, The Boondocks, and Garfield in my inbox seven days a week, sometimes in color.
I'm an old school player.
That's right, none of this new school shit. I'm all about the classic golden age of arcade and console gaming. My favorites are Super Nintendo and Sega Master System (don't sleep! Nintendo had the third parties to get more games, but the Sega games were off the hizzle fo shizzle). Emulate these and alot of other video game systems on your computer right here!

This is the best search engine out there. Oogles and oogles of googles ya know. Aight, that didn't go together too well, but this does.

Find me, you, ya mama, ya poppa, ya baby daddy, and anyone else. Only thing is sometimes they don't give you EXACTLY the shortest way somewhere, but its good to get other streets mearby your destination in case you get lost.
