During my Sophomore year here at CWRU, the head Track coach, Harris, planned a trip we would never forget. It had been a tradition for the Distance team to go somewhere (the year before I came to Case, they went to Florida), but Harris wanted the whole team to be a part of it. After working a food stand (528!) at several Browns games in the freezing lake wind to earn money for the trip (of course the school wouldn't give us anything), we were excited to go to sunny San Diego for a week. There, we trained at the ARCO Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, took in the sun, met many Alumni, went sightseeing, and had a great time.
