Papers and airport pick-up

After the morning prayer meeting, spent some time finalizing some other documents I've been working on (website, volunteers). Packed them up and put them on Chuck's computer in the office. Kate, Carol, and I loaded up in the Combi at around 11:30 and headed to the airport to pick up Kendra, an American volunteer who was arriving. We made it to the airport and waited for a long time for her to come through; she ended up being the last one through and the Immigration people gave her a really hard time (phone calls, threats, etc.). Her flight landed at 1:30pm, and we didn't leave until around 3pm. Once she got through, we loaded up and headed back to Okahandja. Introduced her to everyone, then made some fajitas for dinner; Kendra and Carol joined us. We talked for a while afterward, then went down to the office to go over a CHI overview and walk her through the volunteer manual.
