This one bedroom house serves as a "getaway" artist's studio located on a Lake Erie beach. The south entrance is through a cylindrical exterior exhibition area. Entering through the glass sliding doors takes the visitor in to the interior gallery. This central room is also a common area which connects the bedroom, bathroom, small kitchen, 21 square meter studio, and northwest deck. The deck has an outdoor spiral staircase which leads to the car park under the house and the beach.
This studio was designed "in collaboration with" the famous architect Le Corbusier, and takes many styling cues from Villa Savoye, drafted in the late 1920's by Le Corbusier.
