This heat is stifling. I thought Sunday was supposed to be cooler than Saturday. I guess that was a pleasant fiction. I'm sweating at my PC in post car washing dampness.... It takes forever to wax those rims. Kate's biking this weekend, and I've spent my time pursuing djs, watching TV, Star Wars and otherwise causing trouble. Do you remember when the real world had the vibe of being topical, capturing the clashing personalities of people with very different viewpoints and backgrounds. I caught the first episode of the new season... just because you can't turn the thing off once it starts. They're setting the whole thing up for explosive sex, and "incestuous" housemate sex play. Multi person showers? In house swing pools, hot tubs etc? Yes, I was intrigued by potentials for things between the girl from Milwaukee, and the guy from Billerica. Folks from WI and New England, are in my opinion, quite compatible. I finally saw the new stars wars movie. I can't believe that after the other lack-luster prequels, Lucas actually nailed a movie with haunting darkness, which was driven by character's decisions. It almost justifies the other two movies... Can I blame the tsunami for wacky weather? It put a lot of water in the wrong places, surely that is enough to alter the global climate for a year. The heat's back... and I'm getting bitter. Ay least my rental car is a bit better this time around.... it's a Chevy Cobalt, which certainly trumps the ford focus in every way. It's a bit small, but could be rather nice if it were well equipped. However, it's no Jetta. |
