This website presents an overview of the classroom approach, technology, challenges and discoveries of a recent experimental videoconferenced collaborative seminar/workshop involving undergraduate student playwrights and translators and their respective faculty at CWRU and the University of Urbino in Italy. In addition to discussing the students' own work, the seminar sessions explored the contemporary dramatic literature of both Italy and the United States. The project culminated in the student plays being showcased in an International CyberFestival of New Plays: a series of teleconferenced staged-readings of the students' scripts at CWRU and in Italy in both Italian & English.
