Color mode: 3-color or gradient.
Loose angles: Let lines deviate from shape normals
Curl: If loose angles are enabled, make them tend to curl in one direction

Parameters do not live-update. You need to press the space bar to generate a new image with your selections. You will probably not notice curl for anything other than squares.
