WILA was founded by Lindsey Beasley and Kayla Wheeler in April 2009. The purpose of the group was to provide an environment for young women to grow as leaders within the CWRU community. WILA also strives to build ties with the Greater Cleveland community in the hopes of inspiring young girls to attend college.
