further updates check it out for continous updates between mailings as
well as an archive of past weekly updates.
Our officers will attend the EWB-USA regional conference this weekend
at Valparaiso University in Indiana. They will give a presentation
about this conference at the next
Chapter Meeting 10/6 @ 9:30
Are you
a computer guru, interested in EWB but just don't know how you can help
out? We have a project for you! Developing
an interactive web-based project management software to assist chapters
in organizing their projects and creating a database so that each
chapter can feed of the others success. Please contact Chris
(christopher.parker@case.edu)
if you are interested.
Katherine,
Jake, and Joan presented a funding proposal
to a board of key players from the Case Alumni Association and the
School of Engineering. These organizations have helped us tremendously
in the past and we anticipate positive response to our request.

International Projects-
Indian Tsunami Project- This project has moved up its
timetable and will be making their first trip by winter break. Please
contact: ashish.desai@case.edu if you
are interested in learning more about this project.
Dominican Republic Project- You can see pics and information

Local Projects
We are pleased to annouce that Ryan Li
has agreed to fill the vacancy
of Local Project Coordinator,
there will be a massive planning meeting
on Monday to start several projects rolling. Stay tuned for up coming
local project meetings. In the meantime if you are interested in being a local project leader please reply to this email.
Wanted: Project Leaders - Interested in taking point on a local project?
Please reply to travis.okel@case.edu by 9/21, and let us know if you would like to
look into: Bike Repairs, Local School -Science Schools, Rube Goldberg
event, Boy/Girl Scout Merit Badge Day, Community Center work, Joint
Project with Habitat for Humanity, etc, or any other idea you might
have

Fundraising- The intention this year is to focus on one
large fundraising shindig. Currently plans are under way for a 24-hour
athletic event at the end of February. First
meeting is occuring on Wednesday 9/28 @ 9:30 If you are
interest in helping
