Welcome to the CWRU Debate Team Website. The team meets weekly on Wednesday evenings from 5-8pm in Mather House. Practicing two-person policy debate, the team features a diverse body of students; the team offers competition for debaters with different levels of experience, from the seasoned veteran to the first year novice. We compete in one (sometimes two) tournaments a month, with the season beginning in September and ending in March. Our team travels across the country to various weekend tournaments; the expenses for lodging and food are supplied by the university.

As the 2007-2008 season draws to a close, CWRU debate is looking for new members for the 2008-2009 season. Admitted Freshman and other interested students should be on the lookout to meet the team at some of the University's upcoming Spring outings.
