Recent Annoucements

 

Bike Tune-Up : On Sunday April 13th from 11am-3pm the cycling club will be holding a campus wide Bicycle Tune-up on KSL Oval. Come on out and get all your flat tires, knocked-up rims, squeaky brakes, stiff chains, poor shifting issues, and every other imaginable problem fixed by our mechanics.

On Friday April 18th from 11:30am 1:30pm CWRU Cycling Club and University Program Board (UPB) are teaming up for a joint BBQ and Bike Tune-up. Come to KSL to get your bike fixed and hang out with UPB eating free food and learning about upcoming campus events!

Spring 08 Road Racing : Congratulations to all of our members who raced at Ohio State University, Michigan State University, and University of Michigan. The final race of the years is a noncollegiate, Tour of Perry County Road Race. Email rowdy.white@case.edu for more information.

Regular Road Rides : regular road rides are every Monday and Thursday starting at 4:30pm. Rides leave from Carlton Road on top of the hill on Southside. Questions should be directed to the VP of Road Rides, rowdy.white@case.edu

Mountain Bike Rides : Email VP of Mountain Biking at mgb16@case.edu.

Indoor Spinning :Indoor spinning has completed for the year. We will resume indoor spinning after Thanksgiving break in Fall 08

New Members :If you are a cyclist or are interested in becoming a cyclist (competively or recreationally) we hope you consider CWRU Cycling Club. To become active, the first step is to join the listserv and fill out the membership release (and pay dues). All dues and membership forms for spring semester are due by January 28th. If you have questions email Nick Brehl at ncb10@case.edu

REC TRIP Andrew Lavik, the Vice President of Rec Rides is currently trying to plan activities for the Spring Semester. Please contact him at andrew.lavik@case.edu if you are interested in attending rec rides or if you have suggestions for rec trips.
