Bike Authority Cyclocross 11/7/04 Photo GalleryOn a day that was predicted to have snowed, the weather decided to behave and we got a beautiful 60+ degrees with sun for the race. But that didn't do much to dry up the wet, muddy fields at Broadview Heights. The course was mostly grass with a long singletrack section and a few steep decents that definately favored mountain bikers. Bart Kalnay, Don Yungher, Mike Griffith, John Reade, advisor Paul Salipante, and coach Ryan Wayne all made it out for the race. Don dominated the C race. Mike got wrecked into at the start of the B race, and had a rough time the rest of the way. John broke a spoke about half-way into the race and didn't finish. The race directors didn't seem to be on the same page with anyone, so Ryan and Bart ended up doing an extra lap after their finish time, and Mike was told to quit a lap earlier than he should of. Ahh! Oh well. Results were Ryan 11th, Bart 14th, Paul 15th, and Mike 31st.
