Membership in Players' Patchwork is rather fluid. Many members appear in numerous shows, as often as they can. Some return when their schedule permits. Some are focused on certain venues, such as events in the Society for Creative Anachronism, Anime Marathon, or Marcon. Some have moved away, especially after graduation, but still return to perform when they can and contribute online to ideas and writing. Some may be on hiatus for a long time but return when they are able. While most of the troupe lives in Ohio (in the Cleveland and Columbus areas), we're proud being affiliated with players from at least a dozen different states.

Monica Ham

In the summer of 2004 at Pennsic XXXIII, Lady Sophia the Orange taught classes on commedia dell'arte, Master Midair mac Cormaic taught improvisational comedy, and Lady Judith Fitzpatrick the Uncertain taught street performance and masked mumming. Having no inkling of where this would lead him, Jess Rudolph took these courses and become immediately fascinated. One week later, he started an independent study in commedia at Case Western Reserve University, greatly assisted by acting major Monica Ham who supported the entire project and help train him in acting and stage confidence while performing half the parts in the play herself. These would be the seeds from which the troupe would soon grow.

Though we strive to include everyone, due to the nature of some performances that pull members from the audience on stage, this is list is not yet complete. We still thank all those who have assisted and continue to assist Players' Patchwork on and off stage!

We're always open to new members joining. No experience necessary!
