Mad Words: the Art of Kyogen - Spring Anime Marathon

Saturday, March 20, 9:19pm · Japan CASE's Giga Anime Marathon · Nord Hall 410
Saturday, April 10 · Tekkoshocon VIII · Pittsburgh, PA

The fourth production in a tradition that began during the Fall 2008 Anime Marathon, continued with Spring and Fall 2009, comes the next Mad Words: the Art of Kyōgen, a series of seven short Japanese farces in the style of classic comedic Kyōgen! We return as the biggest event at Japan CASE's now 26-hour Giga Anime Marathon with classic comedies updated for a crowd of otaku with more foolish servants, clueless priests, tricky shysters, living statues, and silly demons!

All the events at Marathon are free and include multiple non-stop anime rooms, panels on Japanese culture, video games, trivia and cosplay contests! Snacks and Japanese food also available. Marathon is scheduled from 1:00pm on Saturday to 3:00pm on Sunday in both Nord and Sears Hall - so don't miss out!

Just three weeks later we will have an encore performance at Tekkoshocon VIII in Pittsburgh, PA! We'll also be holding panels and workshops throughout the weekend!
