Contact the CNMUN 2007 Staff
Secretary General: David Johnson
Though this is his first experience as an administrating capacity, Mr. Johnson has chaired several Model UN committees at various conferences, and has been a member of CaseMUN for three years. In that time, he has attended several conferences, and has won twice at LEIMUN. He is currently in his third year at Case, majoring in Economics and Political Science. When not slaving away for the school, he enjoys playing racquetball, watching 24 and reading Google News obsessively. Mr. Johnson can be contacted at secgen@case.edu.
Undersecretary General, Committees: Michael Caughey
The illustrious and alluring Undersecretary-General for CNMUN, Michael is a second-year member of Case's Model UN Club. An International Studies and Political Science Dual Major with a Minor in Japanese by trade, the United Nations is an institution that he holds near and dear in his heart, along with The Colbert Report and The Daily Show. As a delegate, Michael has won a Superior Delegate award at LEIMUN and has continually put forth his best effort for Case at conferences such as Harvard and University of Chicago. He also served as a chair at CCWAMUN in 2005-2006, and is hard at work to help make CNMUN a success. Personally, Michael practices Kendo, is an RA at Case, enjoys nice walks on the beach at sunset, writing beautiful poems, making fun of radical partisans, playing the World's Most Addicting Computer game, and doing Sean Connery impressions. Kudos to the delegates who can guess which ones he actually does. Mr. Caughey can be contacted at msc16@case.edu.
Undersecretary General, Crisis Coordination: Quinn Daniels
Far more illustrious and alluring than the Undersecretary-General, Quinn Daniels will be leading the Crisis Coordination team. In his many years of MUN experience, Mr. Daniels has brought substantial glory to the CaseMUN team, with wins at nearly every conference he has attended, including Harvard in 2004 and 2005. It is this delegatory prowess, along with his propensity for dressing up as a Soviet officer complete with fur hat and Soviet star pin, which has procured him the position of Commisar (Head Delegate) within CaseMUN. When not smiting the competition at MUN conferences, Mr. Daniels is hard at work in the Biomedical Engineering department, working on his bachelor's degree, which he will hopefully have this year. When not responsible for the safety of others, Mr. Daniels enjoys gaming, seeking various forms of Truth (especially of the amber variety), keeping Mr. Haag in check, and otherwise protecting the world from evil. Mr. Daniels can be contacted at Quinn.Daniels@case.edu.
Chair, Iranian Cabinet: George Haag

The above passage of semi-translatable, seemingly random Latin is the best description that anyone, including Mr. Haag himself, could find. Mr. Haag can be contacted at George.Haag@case.edu.

Chair, Israeli Cabinet: Michael Suglio
Mr. Suglio is a man who defies description, primarily by civil disobedience. A two year veteran of Case MUN, Mr. Suglio spends most of his time at Case on classwork for his Political Science and Psychology majors and Acting and Communication Disorders minors. A staunch supporter of Durkadurkastan, Mr. Suglio spends his spare time serving as Vice President of CaseMUN, breeding pink flamingos (the plastic kind), producing documentary films, listening to an eclectic collection of music, promoting the spread of fascim via military coups in underdeveloped nations, and saving kittens from trees. Mr. Suglio can be contacted at Michael.Suglio@case.edu.
Assistant Chair, Israeli Cabinet: Sean Cooper
Sean Cooper, a sophomore Philosophy major here at Case, will be serving as the Assistant Chair for the Israeli Cabinet. When not thinking about how to think, Mr. Cooper enjoys writing, playing video games, and procrastination. Mr. Cooper can be contacted at mantis_2600@yahoo.com.
Chair, UN Security Council: Samuel Lee

Chair, US Cabinet: Edward Agarwala
Edward Agarwala is a fifth year student at Case completing his MS/BS degree in Applied Mathematics. Although his first experience with MUN was in the spring of 2005, in high school Edward was an active member in speech competitions and Mock Trial where he led his team to win three county championships. Since joining CaseMUN, he has chaired several committees and received an award for Best Delegate in the Legal Committee at the Harvard National MUN conference. Edward can be contacted at Edward.Agarwala@case.edu.
Assistant Chair, US Cabinet: Beth Bai
While much more modest than her male colleagues, Beth is just as clever and has been involved with Case Model United Nations from her collegiate inception; during this time she has attended several conferences, including Harvard and ChoMUN. When not chairing Model UN committees, Beth enjoys referencing herself in the third person, Windexing her Leatherman, and wearing flip-flops year round, regardless of Cleveland weather. Beth can be contacted at Beth.Bai@case.edu.
Deputy Crisis Cooridnator: Kathleen Hildreth
New to CaseMUN, Kathleen became interested in Model UN as a way to put her substantial knowledge of world history and current affairs to good use, namely, the torment of others. Currently a senior majoring in English and Psychology, Ms. Hildreth enjoys reading The Economist, correcting the grammatical mistakes of others, and drinking hot chocolate at Starbucks. Ms. Hildreth can be contacted at Kathleen.Hildreth@case.edu.
Deputy Crisis Cooridnator: Shaan Gahndi
Mr. Gandhi can be contacted at Shaan.Gandhi@case.edu.
Deputy Crisis Cooridnator: Chris Lenthe
A sophomore engineering major, Mr. Lenthe is one of several returning members of CaseMUN lending experience and creativity to the Crisis Coordination Team. Though not a huge fan of getting caught in the rain, Mr. Lenthe does enjoy pina coladas and wishes Cleveland had more dune-filled capes. Mr. Lenthe can be contacted at Christopher.Lenthe@case.edu.
Webmaster: Mike Nies
Over the summer of 2006, Mike found that he had too much free time on his hands, so he volunteered for the position of CNMUN Webmaster, and will be serving on the Crisis Coordination Staff. Mike joined Case MUN during his senior year, and continues to serve as an advisor and occasional delegate at conferences. A 2006 graduate of the Case School of Nursing, Mike spends his free time learning HTML, cycling, and working as a Registered Nurse at University Hospitals of Cleveland. Mike can be contacted at cnmun-web@case.edu.
