Who We Are:
Welcome to Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship at Case Western Reserve University. We know that's a mouthful, so we'll just say XA from now on. We're not a fraternity or sorority, but rather a dynamic group of Christians who seek to change our campus and our world for Jesus Christ. Our name comes from two letters of the Greek alphabet, Chi ("X" pronounced ki), and Alpha ("A" pronounced al-fa). The Chi and Alpha are the first two letters of Greek words written in English as "Christou Apostoloi" and translated as "Christ’s Sent Ones" (2 Corinthians 5:20). A "sent one" could be a delegate, an ambassador, or a missionary.
We're glad that you have decided to stop by. Whether you are just starting your relationship with Jesus Christ or you are seeking to go deeper and farther in your walk, we want to help you grow in any way we can. If you do not already have a relationship with Jesus Christ and are wondering what the big deal is, check out this link. It is a concise summary of the basic Christian truths that can help you enter into a relationship with the Creator of the universe.
While we believe that the real most essential parts of the Christian walk - discipleship, growth, and godly learning - come from small groups, we have a weekly Large Group meeting that brings it all together. Sometimes, a speaker will come in to share a message that is relevant to our lives as college students. Other times, we will focus on getting to know one another and sharing about our own lives in order to support and help one another grow closer to God. We also set aside one Large Group per month for serving the community through places like The City Mission and The Nehemiah Mission.

Our Vision:
For the glory of God, Chi Alpha exists to confront our campus with the goodness and greatness of Jesus Christ through:
- Building fruitful relationships with classmates, dorm mates and peers
- Teaching and learning the foundational truths of God's word
- Giving Christians the practical tools to share the good news of Jesus Christ
- Building discipleship, accountability, and mentoring relationships with fellow Christians
