CodeBlue Release - Call for Applications

CodeBlue Applications Due Wednesday!

By request, the deadline for applications has been extended to Wednesday of this week. Congrats on finishing Block 3!

First Year Students:

Believe it or not, but the Class of 2013 is already getting ready to revisit and matriculate to CWRU School of Medicine! As part of changing of the guard, now that you all are experienced medical students, CodeBlue is seeking new leadership to continue to enhancing the student experience here at CaseMed- particularly during the transition period to medical school.

Remember when you were coming to Case? Did you have lots of questions? Didn't know where to find things? How to get things done? This was the reason that CodeBlue was created. In its first rendition, CodeBlue v 2.012 encompassed a broad swath of topics pertaining to CaseMed and Cleveland. Taking advantage of the powerful, yet easy-to-edit Wiki-format, CodeBlue integrates useful text, interesting pictures, direct web-links, and more. Without a doubt, CodeBlue is the premire transition guide of any medical school in the country. However, the Guide can always be improved and that's where you come in:

If you are interested in being the Editor or a Section editor, send an email to kumar@case.edu with a couple brief paragraphs about 1) what you liked about CodeBlue, 2) why you are interested in participating, and 3) what things you would like to see changed/added.

* Knowledge of webdesign is not necessary (Wiki is easy)!!

Editor:
Oversee the update, distribution (web and print), and next-year's transition of CodeBlue.
Significantly contribute to each section and generate/implement new ideas.
Work with Office of Admissions during Second Look and Orientation week to communicate with first-year students.

Section Editor:
Responsible for updating/adding content for individual sections in time for Second-Look weekend and Orientation.
