Moved in!

Yes that's right, it's move in time. Before we're all settled though, remember, flyers are going up soon, compliments of Joe (the artist) and Andrew (who did the text). I'm just reminding people.

Why Yes, Summer is Indeed Drawing to a Close.

So what can you do to prepare for a new year of school? Well besides all that school shopping stuff, and moving in. Among other things. Well, come the 24th and 25th you can come join the Case Kendo team at the farm and club fair! Yes I know it's sunny out and that there's no computer either (oh the withdrawl pain!) but who wouldn't want to meet Joseph Chen in person?

Jeff Lin, Andrew Lau, Alex Fu, Reijiro Matsuo, and Josiah Roberts should be there (and me!) along with special guest Hiroko Matsuyama. We'll be waiting.

PracticesRegular practices are getting refactored. Andrew will be coming up with the plans so any questions may be directed in his direction. Beyond that, more information will be coming soon. Incidentally, it's going to get a bit less hot out soon, thankfully, making practices a little less painful.

Case Kendo now comes in its own exclusive flavor Recently Case Kendo has become its own entity. Where before Case kendo was also part of Cleveland Kendo, with the creation of Case Kendo as a sports club we are now considered self-sufficient. We also got several sets of bogu from it. We'd like to thank the Matsuyamas and the Cleveland club for all their support over the recent years, and hope to still see you guys.

Osu Keiko 8/11/2007 There will be an OSU practice this Saturday the 11th at OSU (obviously) in Columbus OH. Joe will in fact be meeting us there (lucky). It will be a joint practice between multiple schools including the University of Kentucky, where Joe incidentally is practicing. Any questions, please direct them to Hiroko Matsuyama.

Byung-Hee Kim, we wish you luck Kim has recently left Case for his home in S. Korea. He was a shodan renowned for his extreme speed and his much feared do. A party was held for him on the last day of his practice with Case. We wish you luck in future endeavours Kim!

Adventures in Bogu We here at Case Kendo would like to congratulate Felix Yuan for moving up to wearing bogu and men. Though his first practice may not have been most ideal, we do hope for the very best. Incidentally you still need to work on your kiai a bit now that the men muffles it.
