We got to see a bunch of cool wildlife in all of the tidepools too, which I don't get to see much of in good ol' o-hi-o. Here's a purple starfish (pretty sure that's the scientific name for it). We also saw some orange ones, and some sea anemones, or however you spell it. There were also these little crabs all over the rocks that would sometimes scurry across a rock right as you were about to land on it, and sometimes there'd be an audible crunch when you landed. I always felt bad and apologized, even though it was a tad too late.
