After a few miles along the beach we came to the mouth of the Ozette River, which is where this picture is taken from. Our final destination for the day was on the other side of that point way off in the distance, which is called Point of the Arches, and is one of the prettier places I've seen. Since we had gotten off to such a late start, however, we had to hurry, because some of the headlands you can only get around at low tide, and we didn't really want to get trapped by the tides if at all possible.
