We were gone a little over two weeks, but for some reason I only have like 40 pictures from this trip, so there are some gaps in the timeline. Anywho, the next day we finally arrived at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, where we made camp off a dirt road in the Kaibab National Forest. This would become one of my top three all time favorite campsites. The forest was absolutely gorgeous, we had a snow patch for refrigeration, plenty of wood for a fire, and nice soft pine needles to sleep on. And at 8900 feet above sea level, it was brutally cold at night and brutally hot during the day, which I found to be quite enjoyable for some reason. Oh, and we also had wild turkeys running around.
